About Samura:
SAMURA — a team of professionals who create uniquely designed, high-end knives. We started our journey in 2003. We made our first product lines with the Japanese companies MAC and Mcusta. Japanese philosophy and traditions run deep in our DNA. We are absolutely sure that a Japanese knife cuts better than a European one. Japanese knives remain sharper longer and retain their edges longer.
Samura has been making its knives at production sites in four countries since 2010. We are currently producing 18 knife lines and a huge number of kitchen accessories. We use the best modern materials for the handle: Micarta, G10, stabilised wood, plastic with a soft-touch coating, Kraton, and composites.
THE BUTCHER knives
This truly exclusive series refects its name in the
geometry of the curved handle stainless steel
blade. Every millimeter of the knife aims to
exceed expectations of the pickiest butchers in
the world, since the tools adhere to very specic
meat cutting techniques. The Butcher series will
suit both old-school and modern cooks, allowing
anyone to handle the blades with the level of
condence and performance needed when it
comes down to it.
The Butcher knife series consists of 6 dierent
knives that oer everything a professional butcher
values the most - convenience, safety and high
effciency.
The textured grip surface will not just prevent wet
hands from slipping, but also allow you to make
condent, quick movements. Plus, there’s no
need to worry about the sharpness, since each
AUS-8 steel blade is sharpened manually with the
use of a convex technique, owing to which it can
easily slice through bers without leaving any
rough edges.

MANUALLY using the convex technique for

ORIGINAL JAPANESE AUS8 STEEL varies in
hardness between 58-59 HRC depending on the
size of the knife.
