Wireless Motion Detector Ajax MotionProtect Plus Black with Pet Immunity is a compact indoor motion sensor designed to detect human movement while ignoring household pets. The detector combines a PIR (passive infrared) sensor and a 24 GHz microwave sensor to reliably identify the first step of an intruder and to reduce false alarms caused by drafts, air conditioners, sunlight glare, trembling blinds and other environmental factors. It connects wirelessly to an Ajax Hub and is powered by a pre-installed CR123A battery.
Advantages
MotionProtect Plus uses dual detection (PIR + microwave) and a FresnelTech optical element with an Excelitas PIR sensor to filter out false triggers from animals and electromagnetic interference. Radio-frequency scanning and frequency-hopping protect the radio link from interference and jamming.
