Ajax MotionProtect Plus is a wireless indoor motion detector with pet immunity and combined PIR and 24 GHz microwave sensors. Designed to detect a person’s first step while ignoring pets, drafts and typical sources of false alarms such as air conditioners, blinds movement or sun glare. The detector communicates with an Ajax Hub using the Jeweller protocol and is suitable for homes, offices and retail premises.
Advantages
The detector provides up to 1,200 m range in open space and detects motion up to 12 m. It uses digital signal processing, temperature compensation and radio-frequency scanning to reduce false alarms caused by thermal radiation, electromagnetic interference and curtain-like movements. Built-in authentication, jamming detection, frequency hopping and an encrypted connection protect the system from tampering and external interference. SmartDetect algorithm and an optical FresnelTech component let the device ignore animals weighing up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm in height.
