## Long description

The AKS MKI 11/20mm White 2m Electrical Cable Trunking Duct with Adhesive Tape is a practical electrical installation accessory designed to help organize, route, and protect cables and wires along walls and ceilings. This white wiring duct provides a clean, professional finish in any setting while keeping cords safely concealed. With a length of 2 meters and dimensions of 11x20 mm, it offers ample space for standard low-voltage or power cables. Equipped with a pre-applied adhesive tape on the back, the trunking allows for fast, clean, and secure mounting on smooth surfaces without the need for drilling or complex tools.
Advantages
This electrical cable trunking simplifies cable management by keeping loose wires neatly bundled and out of sight, which significantly reduces clutter and minimizes tripping hazards. The integrated adhesive backing ensures high installation convenience, allowing users to mount the duct firmly without screws, wall plugs, or power tools. Its neutral white color blends seamlessly with most interior decors, baseboards, and painted walls. Furthermore, the durable plastic construction protects enclosed cables from mechanical damage, dust, and everyday wear, contributing to a safer and more organized environment in both homes and offices.
Suitable for
Concealing and routing television and audio cables along living room walls
Managing computer, phone, and power cords in home offices and workspaces
Protecting exposed wiring in rental properties where drilling into walls is restricted
Organizing low-voltage or electrical cables in retail spaces and commercial offices
This trunking duct may not be suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications, thick bundles of high-power cables exceeding the 11x20 mm dimensions, or outdoor environments exposed to severe weather conditions and direct moisture. It is also not recommended for installation on heavily textured, damp, or dusty surfaces where adhesive tape cannot form a permanent bond.
Key specifications
Dimensions: 11x20 mm
Length: 2 meters
Color: White
Mounting type: Pre-applied adhesive tape
Material: Durable plastic
To install the cable duct, first clean and dry the mounting surface thoroughly to remove any dust, grease, or moisture. Measure the required length and cut the duct using appropriate plastic-cutting tools if necessary. Peel off the protective liner from the pre-applied adhesive tape on the back of the duct. Press the duct firmly against the wall or ceiling in the desired position and hold it for a few seconds to ensure a secure hold. Once mounted, open the cover, place the cables inside, and snap the cover back into place.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the 11x20 mm dimensions are sufficient for the number and thickness of the cables you intend to route
Check if the mounting surface is smooth, clean, and dry to ensure proper adhesion of the tape
Measure the total length required for your installation and calculate if additional 2-meter sections are needed
For the best adhesion results, ensure the room temperature is above 15°C during installation and apply firm, even pressure along the entire length of the duct when mounting it to the wall.
