## Summary description

Alfa Network PD-1000D PoE splitter. This device is designed for network installations to separate power and data from an Ethernet cable. Suitable for powering non-PoE network devices.

## Long description

The Alfa Network PD-1000D PoE Splitter is a reliable networking accessory designed to separate power and data streams coming from a single Ethernet cable. This device enables network installations where power outlets are unavailable by delivering continuous power to non-PoE network equipment through standard cabling.
Advantages
The Alfa Network PD-1000D PoE Splitter simplifies network deployment by combining data and electrical power delivery over a single Ethernet infrastructure. It eliminates the need to install separate electrical wiring near connected hardware, thereby reducing installation time and lowering deployment costs. The unit ensures a stable operation for connected equipment by reliably decoupling power from incoming data signals.
Suitable for
Powering non-PoE network devices using existing Ethernet infrastructure
Network installations in locations without direct electrical wall outlets
Extending power delivery alongside data transmission in structured cabling setups
When it may not be suitable
This PoE splitter is not designed for environments that require Gigabit or higher-speed data transmission rates if supported bandwidth limits are exceeded, nor is it suitable for deployment with devices that already feature native Power over Ethernet support.
Key specifications
Function: Separates power and data from an Ethernet cable
Compatibility: Designed for non-PoE network devices
Application: Network installations and structured cabling
How to use
To use the Alfa Network PD-1000D PoE Splitter, connect an incoming Ethernet cable carrying both power and data from a PoE source to the input port of the splitter. Then, connect the separate data-only Ethernet cable and the power output cable directly to your target non-PoE network device. Ensure that all cables are securely attached before powering on the main network switch or injector.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your existing network switch or PoE injector is compatible with the splitter requirements
Check the power input requirements of your target non-PoE device to ensure proper operation
Assess your network bandwidth needs to ensure the hardware meets your connectivity performance standards
Usage recommendations
For optimal performance and equipment safety, always verify the voltage compatibility between the PoE splitter and the connected non-PoE device before powering up the system. Use high-quality Ethernet cables to maintain signal integrity and stable power delivery.
