## Long description

ALPAR M16 zinc-plated S3053 is a turnbuckle engineered for adjustable tensioning of wire ropes, rods and tie rods. The M16 threaded rigging screw features a galvanized finish that increases resistance to corrosion and supports outdoor and general industrial use. Designed for installation in rigging, fencing, support systems and construction assemblies, this turnbuckle allows fine adjustment of tension and alignment where secure fastening and periodic retensioning are required.
Advantages
The zinc-plated surface provides a protective layer against rust and weathering, extending service life in exposed conditions. M16 threaded connections offer a standard size for compatibility with common rigging and fastening components. The simple turnbuckle mechanism enables precise tension adjustments without the need for complex tools, while the robust metal construction ensures mechanical strength for typical load-bearing tasks.
Suitable for
Tensioning wire ropes and guy wires
Adjusting fencing and boundary tension
Supporting lightweight structural elements and braces
Tension adjustment in temporary and permanent construction assemblies
Key specifications
Thread size: M16
Finish: zinc-plated / galvanized coating
Type: turnbuckle / rigging screw
Material: steel with corrosion-resistant plating
Application environment: suitable for outdoor and general industrial use
How to use
Install the turnbuckle by threading each end into the corresponding connection points on the wire rope, rod or anchor fittings. Ensure threads engage fully and secure initial hand-tight position, then rotate the body to increase or decrease tension until the desired alignment is achieved. After adjustment, check that locking nuts or securing devices are tightened if present. Perform visual and manual checks of thread engagement and overall condition periodically, especially after exposure to heavy loads or adverse weather.
Usage recommendations
Use the turnbuckle within its rated load limits and with compatible threaded fittings. For outdoor installations, inspect periodically for corrosion and mechanical wear and reapply tension as needed. Avoid overtightening beyond component specification; use appropriate tools and follow industry-standard safety practices when working at height or with tensioned systems.
