The Alphacool XPX Aurora Pro Eisblock is a CPU water block designed for processors with large cores, including AMD Threadripper TR4/TRX40 and Intel processors for LGA 2066 and LGA 3647 (narrow ILM). As part of Alphacool's Aurora Design line, the water block includes integrated digital aRGB illumination and a nickel-plated copper cold plate for improved thermal conductivity.
Advantages
The cooler base provides a large contact area (42 x 58.6 mm) with 147 cooling fins to increase heat transfer for large CPU dies; fins are 0.2 mm thick to maximise surface area. The base is made of nickel-plated copper to utilise copper's superior thermal conductivity.
