The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora is a liquid cooler designed for very large CPU dies, offering a substantially larger cold plate and fin area than the standard Eisbaer Aurora. It fully covers large processors such as AMD Threadripper and is also compatible with AMD Ryzen and Intel Socket 3647 CPUs. The unit is expandable and compatible with DIY water-cooling components, providing a compact, integrated solution for high-performance processors.
Advantages
The cooler's cold plate bottom measures approximately 55 x 42 mm, covering CPU hotspots directly for improved heat transfer. The fin stack consists of 58 fins with a thickness of 0.4 mm and a 0.4 mm gap between fins; the cooler base is 3 mm thick to allow rapid heat conduction into the coolant. A compact DC-LT 2 pump provides sufficient flow to add other components (for example a GPU water block or additional radiators) into the same loop.
