The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora water cooler for GeForce RTX 4XXX series is a next-generation full-cover GPU cooler constructed from chrome-plated copper. It features an optimised fin structure and a revised jet plate to improve water distribution and increase effective cooling surface area, and it includes high-performance thermal paste and pads for GPU, VRM and memory interfaces.
Advantages
Fin thickness and spacing (0.4 mm each) were developed with NVIDIA board partners to provide high cooling surface area while maintaining very good water flow. The redesigned jet plate evens out water pressure across the fins and gives a better inflow angle, improving heat transfer. Chrome-plated copper construction is more scratch- and acid-resistant than nickel plating, reduces the risk of chipping and produces a more homogeneous, durable shine. Included Subzero thermal compound (16 W/mK) and Alphacool Soft Pads (1 mm, 7 W/mK for VRM/memory; 3 mm, 3 W/mK for PCB back) support efficient thermal coupling.
