The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acrylic GPX graphics card water cooler with backplate is a chrome-plated copper GPU water block with integrated addressable ARGB lighting. It is an evolution of the Eisblock series that lowers thermal resistance by using thinner heat-conducting pads and a thinner copper cold plate while optimising internal water flow to improve cooling of VRMs and memory.
Advantages
The chrome-plated copper construction increases surface hardness and offers improved resistance to acids, scratches and mechanical damage compared with traditional nickel plating, while maintaining a homogeneous, long-lasting shine. Addressable digital ARGB LEDs are embedded along the sides of the block to provide uniform illumination without dark corners. Bevelled edges enhance light diffusion and define the block’s contours. The package includes Alphacool Subzero thermal paste with high thermal conductivity and a set of thermal pads in different thicknesses to ensure correct contact with the GPU die, VRMs, memory and the PCB backplate.
