## Long description

The APC NetShelter AR7580A Vertical Straight Cable Tray is a reliable cable management solution designed specifically for 42U, 750mm wide NetShelter SX enclosures. This vertical straight cable tray efficiently routes and organizes internal data and power cabling, helping to maintain a clean, professional, and structured server cabinet setup in data centers and enterprise network rooms.
Advantages
Using this vertical cable manager helps free up valuable rack U-space while significantly improving airflow throughout the enclosure by keeping bundles away from critical exhaust paths. Its high-capacity design can accommodate up to 250 CAT 6A or CAT 6 data cables per section, making it suitable for dense networking environments. Furthermore, structured cable management helps prevent human error during maintenance and upgrades.
Suitable for
Data centers requiring high-density cable routing
Enterprise network rooms with 42U 750mm wide enclosures
Server cabinets needing improved airflow and thermal performance
Organizations aiming to prevent human error through structured cabling
When it may not be suitable
This vertical cable tray is not suitable for enclosures with widths other than 750mm, such as standard 600mm wide racks. It is also incompatible with specific networking racks like the AR3X4X series, and cannot be used with enclosures of different height specifications like 45U or 48U when specific mounting alignment is required.
Key specifications

Vertical form factor
Black product color
Dimensions: 1778 mm height, 97 mm width, 160 mm depth
Toolless mounting design
High capacity holding up to 250 CAT 6A or CAT 6 data cables per section
How to use
Installation is straightforward thanks to the toolless mounting design, which allows the tray to be easily attached directly to the backplate of compatible NetShelter SX enclosures. Once mounted, route your power and data cables vertically along the tray, securing them using the integrated snap hinge cable retainers. These retainers provide quick and easy access whenever you need to add, remove, or rearrange cables during routine maintenance.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your server rack is a 42U NetShelter SX model with a 750mm width
Confirm compatibility and check that your enclosure is not part of the excluded AR3X4X networking series
Assess your current cable density to ensure the tray capacity meets your infrastructure needs
For optimal results, plan your cable routing paths before installation and utilize the snap hinge retainers properly to prevent strain on data and power connectors.
