It provides on-the-fly 256-bit AES XTS encryption with FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validation, an onboard alphanumeric keypad for PIN entry before connection, and a rugged, dust- and water-resistant aluminium housing (IP57). The drive is software-free, supports Aegis Configurator for mass provisioning and includes independent User and Admin PIN management, recovery PINs and a drive reset function.
