Its robust construction and precise engineering provide a secure, leak-resistant mounting solution that integrates seamlessly into custom water cooling systems.
Advantages
This adapter significantly improves the hydraulic characteristics of D5 pumps by reducing flow resistance and turbulence. The design focuses on maximizing performance while maintaining structural integrity, allowing for quieter and more efficient operation of the cooling loop. Its high-quality materials ensure long-term durability, making it a reliable choice for enthusiasts seeking to optimize their thermal management systems.
Suitable for
Custom liquid cooling loops for high-performance PCs
Systems requiring improved flow rates and pump efficiency
Users upgrading or maintaining D5-based water cooling setups
When it may not be suitable
This adapter is exclusively designed for D5 series pumps and is not compatible with other pump models such as DDC or smaller integrated units. It is also not suitable for systems that do not utilize standard G1/4 inch fittings.
Key specifications
Compatibility: D5 series pumps
Thread type: G1/4 inch
Material: High-grade engineering plastic/metal construction
Function: Pump housing adapter for custom loops
How to use
To install the adapter, first ensure the cooling system is drained and the power is disconnected. Remove the existing pump cover from your D5 pump unit, taking care to preserve the O-ring seal if required by the specific pump model. Position the ULTITOP adapter onto the pump housing, ensuring proper alignment with the mounting points. Secure the adapter using the provided hardware, tightening evenly to ensure a uniform seal. Once installed, connect your G1/4 fittings and tubing to the inlet and outlet ports, then proceed to fill and bleed your cooling loop according to standard procedures.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your pump is a genuine D5 model
Ensure you have compatible G1/4 fittings for your tubing size
Check the clearance in your PC case to accommodate the adapter dimensions
Usage recommendations
Always perform a leak test on your cooling loop for at least 24 hours before powering on your primary PC components to ensure all connections are secure and the adapter is properly seated.
