## Long description

Efficient filter for installation under the sink, softens moderately hard water. Designed to withstand massive water pressure, the housing is extremely easy and safe to replace, yet still secure against accidental removal. All Crystal family under-sink water filters are much more compact compared to the classic Aquaphor Trio in-wall systems, while still containing the same sorption packing as traditional 10" modules.

Deep purification to protect against hidden hazards:
Cartridges sequentially purify water of visible mechanical impurities and dissolved harmful substances. The initial purification unit captures particles down to 5 microns, the second unit softens the water, removes scales in the kettle and the third unit provides final purification of particles down to 0.8 microns (125 times finer than a human hair). The AQUALEN carbon block with ion-exchange fibres captures and safely holds heavy metals and other harmful impurities often found in tap water.

Limescale reduction
Crystal H is suitable for water with a hardness of 4-5 meq/l. This is a medium hardness, where, without the use of a filter, limescale deposits become visible after two weeks. For harder water (limescale deposits appear after 2-3 days) it is recommended to choose a reverse osmosis system, otherwise the softening module KH will have to be changed or regenerated every 2-4 weeks. For hard water, reverse osmosis filters are more advantageous as they provide purification at bottled water level and completely remove excess hardness salts, protecting appliances from limescale deposits and your drinks and food from off-flavours.
