## Long description

artelegno Plate Pad PL33/WL Walnut Wood 33 cm is a round wooden plate protection mat with a 33 cm diameter, made from walnut wood. It is designed to protect tabletops and surfaces from heat, scratches and moisture when placing plates, serving dishes or hot cookware. The compact, neutral design provides a discreet wooden surface suitable for daily dining, buffet service or occasional entertaining where a functional and decorative protective pad is required.
Advantages
The walnut wood construction offers natural thermal resistance and a hard, scratch-resistant surface that reduces the risk of heat marks and surface abrasion. Its round 33 cm format fits under most dinner plates, shallow serving bowls and small hot pans, while the smooth finish prevents moisture absorption and simplifies cleaning. The product is lightweight for easy repositioning and durable enough for repeated use without deforming under normal table conditions.
Suitable for
Protecting dining tables from hot plates, serving dishes and cookware
Use as a decorative base for buffet or serving presentations
Everyday family meals where a quick protective surface is needed
Temporary placement under hot pans during cooking or serving
Key specifications
Material: walnut wood
Shape: round
Diameter: 33 cm
Finish: smooth, sealed surface to resist moisture
Function: heat and scratch protection for tabletops
How to use
Place the plate pad on a flat area of the tabletop before setting down hot plates or serving dishes. Ensure the pad is stable and fully in contact with the surface beneath to distribute weight and heat evenly. Avoid exposing the pad to direct open flames or placing cookware that exceeds the intended heat load for extended periods. After use, wipe the pad with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly; do not soak or put in a dishwasher.
Usage recommendations
To maintain appearance and performance, clean the walnut surface with a mild detergent and a soft cloth, dry immediately, and occasionally apply a food-safe wood oil to restore luster and maintain moisture resistance. Store flat in a dry place away from prolonged direct sunlight or high humidity.
