## Long description

The Asus Casstrm Swedish Strop Coarse Sharpening Compound 10511 is a specialized abrasive paste designed for knife maintenance, blade polishing, and edge refinement. This coarse formulation is engineered to be applied on leather strops to help restore cutting performance and maintain sharp edges on various cutting tools.
Advantages
This sharpening compound provides an effective solution for routine knife maintenance and blade upkeep. The coarse abrasive texture helps efficiently remove micro-burrs and smooth out minor imperfections along the cutting edge. Regular application on a leather strop contributes to prolonging the lifespan of cutting tools by maintaining their functional geometry and readiness for use.
Suitable for
Knife maintenance and blade edge refinement
Applying to leather strops for manual sharpening
Restoring cutting performance on various cutting tools
Polishing metal blades to achieve a refined finish
When it may not be suitable
This coarse compound is not recommended for heavy blade repair, major chip removal, or re-profiling severely damaged edges where coarser bench stones are required. It is also not intended for non-metal materials or surfaces that cannot be effectively stropped.
Key specifications
Product type: Coarse sharpening and polishing compound
Intended application: Leather strops for blade maintenance
Function: Edge refinement, burr removal, and blade polishing
How to use
Apply a small amount of the coarse sharpening compound evenly across the surface of a leather strop. Rub the compound gently into the leather if necessary to ensure an even distribution.
