The dual-rail design lets the LCD and keyboard/touchpad slide independently: the keyboard/touchpad can retract out of the way and the thin-profile LCD rotates flush against the rack. The switch supports up to 16 Cat5e/6-connected servers and provides both local console control and IP-based remote access over LAN/WAN/Internet using standard TCP/IP.
