The Axagon ADR-220 is a 20 m active USB 2.0 extension/repeater cable with USB Type A male and female connectors. It boosts USB signals to enable connection of distant peripherals such as mice, keyboards, webcams, printers, scanners and plotters while maintaining USB 2.0 communication speeds up to 480 Mbit/s. The compact active module and shielded cable reduce interference and allow installation in cable ducts or power strips.
Advantages
The active repeater amplifies and regenerates the USB signal to extend the usable distance beyond a passive cable. An integrated connector for optional external 5 V power (3.5 × 1.3 mm jack) and the included USB-A to 3.5 mm power lead allow powering higher-consumption devices.
