The Axagon CRE-SM4N is a desktop USB 2.0 contact smart / ID card reader in a compact black stand design. It supports common contact smart card formats including contact bank payment cards and contact electronic ID cards and is compatible with most national eID applications. The reader connects via a USB-A plug and is compatible with Windows, Linux, Mac OS and Android devices; for phones or tablets with USB-C or micro-USB ports use a suitable USB-C→A or micro-USB OTG adapter. The stand includes anti-slip feet and internal weights for stability, a long 1.3 m fixed cable and a single card slot with clear LED indication.
