The Axagon CRE-SMP2A is a compact USB 2.0 card reader that combines a contact smart card slot with SD, microSD and SIM card slots. It supports common contact smart card formats including contact bank payment cards and electronic ID cards, and is compatible with most national eID applications. The reader is bus-powered, includes a USB-C \<-\> USB-A adapter for connection to USB-C devices, and features a rotating cap to protect the USB-A connector. Its small dimensions (80 x 30 x 15 mm) and light weight (20 g) make it suitable for mobile use.
