The AXAGON PCES-SA4M2 PCI-Express controller adds two SATA III ports and two SATA M.2 slots to a desktop PC, supporting transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s. The card combines a two-port SATA III controller with two NGFF (SATA) M.2 sockets, allowing connection of up to four drives simultaneously — for example two 3.5" hard drives or optical drives together with two SATA M.2 SSDs. The card uses the ASMedia ASM1164 chipset and includes both standard and low-profile brackets for installation in full-size and small form-factor cases.
