The aluminum body houses a screwless mounting system with rubber plugs and springs, an integrated capacitor for power stabilization and an LED that indicates disk insertion and data transfer. The adapter supports 2.5" drives up to 9.5 mm high and behaves as a normal internal disk in BIOS/UEFI and operating systems.
