Built on the ARTPEC‑9 platform with a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), the camera supports AV1, H.264 and H.265 codecs with Axis Zipstream to reduce bandwidth and storage. It includes Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR and OptimizedIR for color-accurate images and detailed surveillance in low light and complete darkness. A variant with a built-in microphone provides immediate support for AXIS Audio Analytics, and the device is designed for outdoor ceiling or wall mounting in a white weatherproof housing.
