AXIS T8640 PoE+ over Coax Adaptor Kit allows existing coaxial cabling to remain in place when converting an analog video system to a digital IP system. The kit consists of AXIS T8641 PoE+ Over Coax Base and AXIS T8642 PoE+ over Coax Device and provides standard Power over Ethernet (PoE) and centrally sourced power delivered through existing coax cable. It is designed for long-range installations and supports adding local power to the device unit for higher power efficiency when needed.
