The AXIS 5505-401 housing is a standalone, universal cabinet for security cameras that supports 12 V DC–powered cameras. The unit is delivered pre-mounted with an AXIS T8604 Media Converter Switch, an AXIS Electrical Safety kit and a 25 W DIN power supply (CP‑D 12/2.1). This housing is not suitable for mounting a camera on the cabinet door; for cabinets that allow door-mounted cameras, see other AXIS models. The white, wired housing protects installed cameras from environmental exposure and is intended for fixed installations both indoors and outdoors.
