AXIS T98A-VE Surveillance Cabinet Series is a polycarbonate enclosure designed for outdoor video surveillance installations. It has an IP66 rating for protection against dust and high-pressure water jets and meets NEMA 4X requirements for resistance to windblown dust, salt spray, rain and hose-directed water. The cabinet material is IK10-rated to resist impact and vandalism. Vibration ratings are supported (4M4 and 4M3 for AXIS T98A18-VE). The modular construction and separated compartments allow safe integration of mains power and low-voltage equipment.

The modular design enables step-by-step installation where the mounting plate, mains power components and low-voltage units can be installed by different specialists in sequence to optimize workflow. A range of optional mounting brackets allows the mounting plate to be installed on a wall, pole or building corner.
