## Long description

The Bachmann 19-inch rack power strip aluminium with 8 sockets CEE 7/3 C14 inlet plug 8m cable is a professional power distribution unit designed for secure and efficient energy management in technical environments. Built with a robust aluminium housing, this rack-mountable power strip ensures long-lasting durability and dependable performance in demanding rack setups. It features eight safety sockets and comes with an extended 8-meter power cable, offering exceptional reach and flexibility for complex installations.
Advantages
The unit features a sturdy aluminium housing that provides enhanced mechanical strength and helps protect internal components in busy technical installations. The inclusion of eight CEE 7/3 safety sockets allows multiple devices to be connected securely within a single rack space. With an extra-long 8-meter power cable, this power strip eliminates the need for additional extension cords, making it much easier to route power from distant sources to your equipment rack or network cabinet. The C14 inlet plug facilitates straightforward connection to compatible power distribution units or uninterruptible power supplies, ensuring a clean and organized wiring layout.
Suitable for
Server racks and network cabinets
Data centers and IT server rooms
Audio and video equipment racks
Technical workspaces and laboratories
When it may not be suitable
This power strip is not designed for outdoor environments or areas exposed to high moisture, as it lacks weather-resistant protections. Additionally, it may not be suitable for high-wattage industrial machinery that exceeds the electrical rating limits of standard CEE 7/3 safety sockets and the C14 inlet configuration.
Key specifications
19-inch rack-mountable design
Durable aluminium housing construction
Equipped with 8 CEE 7/3 safety sockets
Features a C14 input plug
Cable length: 8 meters
How to use
To install the power strip, secure it horizontally or vertically within a standard 19-inch rack or network cabinet using appropriate mounting hardware. Connect the C14 inlet plug to a compatible power source, such as a PDU or UPS system. Plug your electronic devices into the eight CEE 7/3 safety sockets, ensuring that the total connected load remains within safe operating limits. Route the 8-meter cable carefully along designated cable management paths to avoid pinching or tension on the connections.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your rack or cabinet supports standard 19-inch equipment mounting
Check that your power source or UPS features a compatible C14 output connection
Confirm that the total power consumption of your connected devices matches the electrical specifications
Measure the distance to your power source to ensure the 8-meter cable length meets your routing requirements
Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect the power cable and housing for any signs of wear. Do not overload the power strip with appliances that exceed the maximum electrical capacity, and ensure proper ventilation within the rack enclosure during continuous operation.
