## Summary description

Basil Cove double pannier bag offers 28–32 liters of combined capacity and fits bikes with the Universal Bridge System. Designed for everyday commuting and touring, it provides two spacious packs for groceries, work items or light travel gear. The bag features attachment compatibility, weather-resistant materials and a neutral silvergreen/black finish for practical use.

## Long description

The Basil Cove double pannier bag provides a combined capacity of 28–32 liters and is designed to attach to bikes equipped with the Universal Bridge System. Constructed for everyday commuting and light touring, the bag consists of two separate panniers in a practical silvergreen/black finish. Materials are selected to resist light rain and splashes, while the mounting system allows quick installation and removal on compatible racks.
Advantages
The double pannier design balances load distribution across both sides of the rear rack, helping stabilize the bicycle when carrying groceries, work items or travel essentials. The adjustable combined capacity lets riders adapt space to current needs between 28 and 32 liters. The Universal Bridge System compatibility provides broad fit with many modern rear racks, and the neutral silvergreen/black colour offers a low-key look that suits a variety of bicycles and outfits.
Suitable for
Daily commuting and city transport
Weekend or light touring where 28–32L is sufficient
Shopping trips and transporting work items, books or a small laptop
Riders who prefer a symmetrical, low-profile luggage solution
When it may not be suitable
The Basil Cove double pannier is not intended for heavy-duty expedition use or extended bikepacking when large volumes or very heavy loads are required. Riders who need fully waterproof luggage for prolonged exposure to heavy rain should consider dedicated waterproof panniers or dry bags instead.
Key specifications
Total capacity: 28–32 litres (combined)
Configuration: two separate pannier bags
Mounting: compatible with Universal Bridge System
Colour: silvergreen/black
Use case: commuting, light touring, shopping
How to use
Attach the panniers to a rear rack that supports the Universal Bridge System following the manufacturer's fitting method: position the bridge or hooks over the rack and secure the fastening points. Adjust capacity as needed by packing or compressing items inside each pannier and close any input flaps or fasteners provided to protect contents from splashes. Remove the panniers by releasing the mounting catches and lift off the rack for carrying or storage.
What to consider before purchase
Confirm your rear rack supports the Universal Bridge System or compatible fittings
Assess whether 28–32L combined capacity meets your regular load requirements
Check if additional waterproofing is required for frequent heavy rain exposure
Usage recommendations
For balanced handling, distribute weight evenly between both panniers and avoid overloading one side. Secure smaller items inside pockets or use compression to prevent shifting. For prolonged wet-weather use, add a rain cover or use internal dry bags to protect electronics and sensitive items.
