## Long description

Basil Cove Double Pannier Bag provides a combined 28–32 liters of storage in a two-bag configuration, presented in navy and black. The set attaches to most rear racks using the Universal Bridge System, giving a practical option for everyday cycling. Designed for riders who need organized, weather-aware storage, the panniers balance capacity and compactness for commuting, shopping and light touring.
Advantages
The double pannier offers flexible capacity with an adjustable combined volume of 28–32 liters and a balanced two-bag layout that keeps weight distributed on both sides of the bike. The Universal Bridge System ensures secure mounting on a wide range of rear racks and allows quick attachment and removal. The navy/black exterior provides a discreet, versatile look that suits both urban and leisure use while fabric and construction are chosen to withstand routine outdoor use.
Suitable for
Daily commuting and carrying work or personal items
Grocery shopping and short urban errands
Light touring or weekend rides where moderate luggage is needed
Riders who prefer pannier-style storage over backpacks for even weight distribution
When it may not be suitable
This pannier set is designed for general cycling use and moderate loads; it may not be suitable for heavy-duty touring where much larger capacity or specialized waterproof expedition gear is required. Riders who need a single large duffel-style bag or integrated backpack functionality may find the two-bag layout less convenient.
Key specifications
 Combined capacity: 28–32 liters
Configuration: double pannier (two separate bags)
Mounting: Universal Bridge System compatible with many rear racks
 Color: navy/black
Intended use: commuting, shopping, light touring
How to use
Mount each pannier on either side of the rear rack using the Universal Bridge System; follow the rack alignment to ensure the bridge engages securely. Adjust placement so the bags sit level and do not interfere with the wheel or brakes. Load items evenly between the two bags to maintain balanced handling. For daily use, remove the panniers quickly by disengaging the bridge mechanism and carry them by hand or transport them to storage as needed.
What to consider before purchase
Confirm your rear rack is compatible with the Universal Bridge System or can accept pannier attachments
Decide if 28–32 liters total capacity meets your typical load for commuting or trips
Consider whether you require full waterproofing or additional rain covers for heavy exposure
Usage recommendations
Distribute weight evenly between both panniers, secure smaller loose items inside pockets or pouches to avoid shifting, and check the bridge attachment before each ride. For rainy conditions, use an additional rain cover if heavy downpours are expected to protect contents and prolong fabric life.
