## Long description

The Bemko M-20 Gray Cable Gland E45-M-20-S/1 is engineered for secure cable entry, strain relief, and environmental protection in various electrical installations and enclosures. This gray cable gland ensures reliable sealing and cable organization, preventing dust and moisture ingress in professional electrical and industrial setups.
Advantages
This cable gland provides exceptional mechanical support and secure strain relief, which prevents cables from being accidentally pulled or twisted out of the terminal connections. Its robust design guarantees environmental protection, safeguarding sensitive internal components from dust, dirt, and moisture. The installation process is straightforward, allowing for quick routing and fastening of cables while maintaining a clean and professional appearance in distribution boards and junction boxes.
Suitable for
Electrical enclosures and junction boxes
Industrial automation and control panels
Routing and securing cables in distribution boards
Indoor and protected outdoor electrical installations
When it may not be suitable
This cable gland is not intended for high-temperature environments that exceed standard operating limits or for permanent underwater submersion applications. It may also be unsuitable for cables that fall significantly outside the specified metric thread diameter range.
Key specifications
Thread size: M20
Color: Gray
Function: Cable entry, strain relief, and environmental sealing
How to use
To use the Bemko M-20 gray cable gland, first prepare the enclosure by drilling a hole matching the M20 thread size if one is not already present. Insert the threaded part of the gland through the hole and secure it from the inside using the provided locknut. Feed the cable through the gland and tighten the cap nut firmly to compress the internal seal around the outer sheath of the cable, ensuring a snug and protective fit.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the thread size matches the knockout or pre-drilled hole in your enclosure
Check the outer diameter of your cable against the clamping range of the M20 gland
Ensure the operating environment aligns with the standard protective capabilities of the component
Usage recommendations
For optimal performance and a reliable environmental seal, always tighten the cap nut to the recommended torque level without over-tightening, and ensure the cable surface is clean and dry before installation.
