## Long description

BIC 837397 is a retractable ballpoint pen with black ink, a plastic barrel and a metal tip, designed for everyday writing tasks. The pen features a push-action mechanism and an integrated clip for secure pocket or notebook attachment. It delivers consistent black lines with a standard ballpoint nib suitable for general note-taking, document signing and routine office use.
Advantages
The retractable mechanism protects the tip when not in use and eliminates the need for a separate cap. The integrated clip secures the pen to pockets, folders or planners and supports easy access. The plastic body keeps the pen lightweight for extended writing sessions, while the metal tip offers durability and smooth ink flow for consistent marks on paper.
Suitable for
Everyday office and administrative writing
Schoolwork, note-taking and homework
Home use for lists, forms and signatures
On-the-go writing with pocket or notebook attachment
Key specifications
Ink colour: black
Type: retractable ballpoint pen with push-action mechanism
Barrel material: plastic
Tip material: metal
Nib style: standard ballpoint
Clip: integrated for pocket attachment
How to use
Press the push-action button to extend the tip for writing and press again to retract it. Hold the pen at a comfortable angle so the ballpoint makes steady contact with the paper for smooth, continuous lines. Store the pen retracting the tip when not in use to prevent ink marks and to protect the tip. Replace the pen when ink flow becomes faint or inconsistent.
Usage recommendations
Use on standard paper and office stationery for optimal ink flow. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or direct sunlight to preserve ink quality. For reliable daily performance, keep the pen capped by retracting the tip when stored and use a suitable writing pressure for the ballpoint tip.
