## Long description

The Böker Plus Atlas Clippoint TS D2 is a reliable universal knife designed for everyday carry and practical cutting tasks. It combines a durable D2 tool steel blade with a robust stainless steel handle to ensure dependable performance for various utility needs.
Advantages
This universal knife provides exceptional edge retention and mechanical strength thanks to its high-quality D2 tool steel blade. The robust stainless steel handle ensures a secure grip, structural integrity, and long-lasting durability during daily cutting operations. Its slipjoint mechanism allows for safe and convenient handling without a complex locking mechanism, making it straightforward to operate.
Suitable for
Everyday carry and general utility tasks
Opening packages, boxes, and mail
Light outdoor and camping chores
Basic preparation and cutting tasks
When it may not be suitable
This knife is not designed for heavy-duty batoning, prying, or demanding survival tasks in extreme wilderness conditions. Because it features a non-locking slipjoint mechanism, it may not be suitable for heavy thrusting cuts or high-stress applications where blade security under extreme pressure is required.
Key specifications
Blade material: D2 tool steel
Handle material: Stainless steel
Blade shape: Clippoint
Opening mechanism: Manual with nail nick
Locking mechanism: Slipjoint
How to use
To use the knife, grip the stainless steel handle firmly and use the nail nick on the D2 steel blade to open it manually to the fully extended position. Ensure the blade is fully open before performing any cutting task. Apply steady and controlled pressure when cutting, always directing the edge away from your body and hands. After use, fold the blade carefully back into the handle.
What to consider before purchase
Verify local knife carry laws regarding blade locking mechanisms and pocket knives
Consider whether a non-locking slipjoint design meets your safety requirements for daily tasks
Assess the maintenance needs of D2 tool steel regarding corrosion prevention
Usage recommendations: Clean the D2 steel blade and stainless steel handle regularly after use, especially after exposure to moisture or acidic materials, and apply a light coat of oil to prevent corrosion and maintain smooth operation.
