## Summary description

BonFeu BONFEU ROZPAŁKA WEŁNA DRZEWNA is a 1.5 kg pack of wood wool firestarter sticks designed for easy ignition of fireplaces, wood stoves, barbecues and campfires. Made from natural wood fibers, it provides quick, uniform kindling, reliable flame generation and convenient handling for starting solid-fuel fires.

## Long description

BonFeu BONFEU ROZPAŁKA WEŁNA DRZEWNA 1.5 kg is a pack of wood wool firestarter sticks made from natural wood fibers and designed to simplify ignition of fireplaces, wood stoves, barbecues and campfires. The product is supplied as a 1.5 kg bundle of thin, fibrous sticks that catch flame quickly and burn steadily to help transfer heat to larger fuel pieces.
Advantages
The wood wool composition offers fast and uniform ignition with minimal smoke and ash compared to irregular kindling. Sticks are lightweight and easy to position among logs or charcoal, providing reliable flame generation for several minutes to ensure consistent fire build-up. Being made from natural fibers, the product is biodegradable and free from metal or plastic additives that could leave residues in the fire.
Suitable for
Starting fires in fireplaces and wood stoves
Igniting barbecues, grills and smokers
Campfire and outdoor firepit lighting
Use with dry logs, charcoal or other solid fuels
When it may not be suitable
This product is intended to assist ignition of solid fuels and is not a substitute for primary fuel. It is not designed for use as a long-lasting heat source; the sticks burn through in a relatively short time once lit. Avoid using these firestarters in confined spaces without adequate ventilation, since any combustion produces smoke and combustion products.
Key specifications
Weight: 1.5 kg pack
Material: natural wood wool (wood fibers)
Form: thin fibrous sticks for easy placement
Ignition behavior: fast catch and steady burn to transfer flame to larger fuel
Intended fuels: dry logs, charcoal and other solid fuels
How to use
Place a small number of sticks beneath or between the larger fuel pieces, arranging them so air can circulate around the fibers. Light one end of a stick with a match or lighter and allow the flame to spread across the wood wool; once the larger logs or charcoal begin to glow and catch, add additional fuel as needed to build the desired fire. Ensure the fire area is stable and that combustible materials are kept at a safe distance while igniting.
What to consider before purchase
Ensure compatibility with the type of fireplace, stove or barbecue you use.
Check that you have adequate ventilation for safe combustion.
Store the pack in a dry place to preserve ignition properties.
Buy quantity according to frequency of use—1.5 kg is suitable for multiple lightings.
Usage recommendations
For reliable starts, use 2–4 sticks per lighting depending on fuel size and moisture. Position sticks where they receive airflow and avoid piling wet or green wood directly on the firestarter. Keep a safe distance and extinguish any residual embers when finished.
