## Long description

The Bosch Serie 6 BGL6HYG1 is a cylinder vacuum designed for home cleaning of carpets and hard floors. It offers dry cleaning performance with a maximum input power of 600 W, an enclosed dust bag for hygienic disposal, and an integrated allergy filter to help reduce airborne particles. The unit combines white and black styling with a compact form factor and a weight of approximately 6 kg, providing a balance of power and manoeuvrability for regular household use.
Advantages
The Bosch Serie 6 BGL6HYG1 delivers effective suction while keeping energy consumption moderate due to its 600 W maximum input power. The dust bag system simplifies waste handling and reduces contact with collected dirt. An allergy filter captures fine particles to improve indoor air quality during operation. Its noise level of 75 dB allows quieter cleaning compared with louder models, and the two-tone white and black finish integrates unobtrusively into most home interiors.
Suitable for
Routine vacuuming of carpets and area rugs
Cleaning hard floors such as tile, wood and laminate
Household maintenance where reduced airborne dust is desired
Users who prefer a bagged vacuum for hygienic disposal
Key specifications
Type: Cylinder vacuum
Cleaning type: Dry
Maximum input power: 600 W
Noise level: 75 dB
Filtration: Allergy filter (integrated)
Dust collection: Removable dust bag
Cleaning surfaces: Carpet and hard floor

How to use
Before first use, fit a compatible dust bag and ensure the allergy filter is correctly installed. Connect the power plug to a suitable mains outlet and select the appropriate floor nozzle for carpets or hard floors. Move the cleaner slowly over surfaces to allow the motor and filtration system to capture dust and debris. Replace the dust bag when it reaches the recommended fill level and inspect the filter periodically; replace or clean the filter according to the manufacturer’s guidance to maintain suction performance.
Usage recommendations
For best results on carpeted areas, use a slower sweeping motion and ensure the nozzle setting matches pile height. On hard floors, use a hard floor nozzle or setting to avoid scattering debris. Store replacement dust bags and filters on hand to ensure uninterrupted operation; always power off and unplug the vacuum before replacing consumables or performing maintenance.
