Its low-profile construction ensures that your workspace remains organized and your line of sight remains unobstructed during video calls or live broadcasts.
Advantages
The primary benefit of this boom arm is its unobtrusive design, which allows for a clean camera frame without sacrificing microphone placement precision. The robust desk clamp provides a secure attachment to various surfaces, ensuring the arm remains stable during intense recording sessions. With its adjustable joints, users can easily position the microphone at the ideal angle for optimal sound capture, while the integrated cable management system helps maintain a tidy and professional-looking desk setup.
Suitable for
Podcasting and voice-over recording
Live streaming and content creation
Video conferencing and remote meetings
Home studio audio setups
When it may not be suitable
This microphone arm may not be suitable for users requiring extreme vertical reach or those working with exceptionally heavy broadcast microphones that exceed the arm's weight capacity. It is also not intended for use on desks with irregular edges or surfaces that cannot accommodate a standard clamp mechanism.

Sturdy desk clamp mounting system
Adjustable multi-angle positioning
Integrated cable management

How to use
To use the Boya MIC ARM LP, first secure the desk clamp to the edge of your table or desk by tightening the screw mechanism until it is firm. Once the base is stable, insert the boom arm into the clamp. Attach your microphone to the end of the arm using the appropriate thread adapter. Adjust the tension knobs at the joints to achieve your desired position, ensuring the microphone is angled correctly toward your sound source. Finally, route your microphone cable through the integrated channels to keep your workspace neat.
What to consider before purchase
Check the thickness of your desk to ensure compatibility with the clamp
Verify the weight of your microphone to ensure it is within the supported range
Ensure your microphone has a standard mounting thread
Usage recommendations
For the best audio quality, position the microphone approximately 15 to 20 centimeters from your mouth and ensure the arm is tightened sufficiently to prevent sagging during long recording sessions.
