## Long description

The Bradas 5488 Elastic Bungee Cord with Steel Hooks 0.8 x 120 cm is a reliable fastening solution designed for securing, bundling, and holding items in place. Measuring 0.8 cm in thickness and 120 cm in length, this elastic cord offers dependable tension and flexibility for a wide variety of daily tasks. Equipped with sturdy steel hooks at both ends, it ensures a firm grip and straightforward attachment to anchor points, racks, or eyelets, making it a practical accessory for transport, travel, home, and garden use.
Advantages
This bungee cord provides consistent elasticity and strong holding power, allowing users to secure loads firmly without slipping. The integration of durable steel hooks enhances connection security and simplifies the attachment process across different surfaces and objects. Its versatile length and thickness strike a balance between stretchability and robust support, while the weather-resistant design ensures reliable performance during outdoor activities and everyday transport needs.
Suitable for
Securing luggage and cargo on roof racks or trailers
Bundling tools, pipes, and long items together
Holding tarpaulins and covers in place outdoors
General fastening tasks around the home, garage, and garden
When it may not be suitable
This elastic bungee cord is not designed for heavy-duty industrial lifting, towing vehicles, or securing extremely heavy loads that exceed the natural tension limits of standard rubber cords. It should not be used as a personal safety harness or in high-load structural applications.
Key specifications
Cord thickness: 0.8 cm
Cord length: 120 cm
Material: Elastic cord with steel hooks
Application: Fastening, bundling, and cargo securing
How to use
To use the bungee cord, attach one of the steel hooks securely to a stable anchor point, mounting loop, or structure. Pull the cord across or around the items you wish to secure, applying the necessary tension to hold them firmly in place. Fasten the second steel hook to an opposing anchor point to maintain steady pressure. Ensure the hooks are fully engaged and stable before transport or movement begins.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the 120 cm length is appropriate for your specific bundling or securing requirements
Check that the 0.8 cm thickness provides sufficient tension for your intended loads
Confirm that anchor points are available for the steel hooks
Usage recommendations
Inspect the elastic cord and steel hooks regularly for signs of wear, fraying, or deformation before each use, and avoid overstretching the cord beyond its structural limits to maintain safe and reliable performance.
