The cartridges combine BRITA Micro Carbon Pearls from natural coconut shell carbon and ion-exchange pearls to reduce chlorine, limescale, lead, copper, certain pesticides, herbicides and some pharmaceutical residues. Each cartridge has an approximate capacity of 150 litres with a recommended replacement interval of about one month.
Advantages
The filter housing contains 50% bioplastic produced from plant-based raw materials, reducing the share of conventional oil-based polymers.
