The cartridge body is produced from 50% bioplastic. Denser micro-mesh (captures particles ≥ 0.03 mm) and BRITA MICRO CARBON PEARLS made from natural coconut shell carbon absorb chlorine, heavy metals such as lead and copper, and various pesticides, herbicides and non‑soluble organic compounds. Ion-exchange pearls reduce limescale buildup, helping to extend the service life of household appliances. Typical cartridge capacity is about 150 litres or approximately 1 month of use.
