## Long description

The Buff Merino HW Over The Calf Socks HWO2 Olive Green Size L Heavyweight Merino Wool Thermal Outdoor Socks are designed to deliver reliable warmth and comfort during cold-weather adventures. Crafted from natural merino wool, these thermal socks provide superior thermal regulation and moisture management, making them an essential addition to any outdoor wardrobe.
Advantages
Merino wool naturally regulates temperature, keeping feet warm in cold environments while preventing overheating during active movement. The natural moisture-wicking properties of the wool pull sweat away from the skin to maintain dryness and comfort throughout the day. Additionally, merino wool naturally resists odors, ensuring long-lasting freshness during extended wear. The over-the-calf design offers extended coverage and warmth, while targeted cushioning absorbs impact and reduces friction inside footwear.
Suitable for
Cold-weather hiking and trekking
Winter mountaineering and outdoor expeditions
Snowshoeing and winter camping
Daily use in freezing weather conditions
When it may not be suitable
These heavyweight thermal socks may be too warm and thick for mild or warm weather conditions. They might also feel overly bulky when worn inside tightly fitted everyday footwear.
