## Summary description

Protective raincover designed for the Calumet PRIME Sling 7L sling bag. This waterproof cover shields the bag and its contents from rain and moisture, ensuring camera gear and personal items stay dry. Easy to deploy and compact when stored, it’s intended for outdoor photography, commuting and travel in wet conditions.

## Long description

The Calumet waterproof raincover is designed specifically for the Calumet PRIME Sling 7L sling bag. It provides an extra layer of weather protection to keep camera equipment, accessories and personal items dry during rain, drizzle or moist environments. The cover packs down compactly for storage inside the sling and unfolds quickly when needed, allowing photographers and commuters to respond to changing weather without removing their kit from the bag.
Advantages
The raincover is made from waterproof material and features a form-fitting shape to follow the silhouette of the PRIME Sling 7L. It offers fast deployment, compact storage and a low-profile black finish that blends with the sling bag. The cover reduces the risk of water ingress while still permitting access to external straps and closures when correctly fitted.
Suitable for
Outdoor photography shoots in light to moderate rain
Daily commuting where sudden showers are possible
Travel and hiking when wet weather protection for a compact sling is needed
Protecting camera bodies, lenses and small electronics from moisture
When it may not be suitable
This raincover is intended for the Calumet PRIME Sling 7L and is sized to fit that model. It may not provide a perfect fit or full coverage for larger camera bags, backpacks or differently shaped sling bags. In heavy prolonged downpours or submersion situations, the raincover alone may not guarantee complete waterproofing of contents; additional internal protection such as dry bags or sealed cases should be considered for highly sensitive equipment.
Key specifications
Material: waterproof synthetic fabric
Colour: black
Designed fit: compact sling bag profile for a 7-litre sling
Storage: folds/rolls into a small pouch for internal storage
Deployment: quick-fit design for rapid protection
How to use
Remove the raincover from its storage pouch and unfold it completely. Place the cover over the Calumet PRIME Sling 7L, aligning openings and straps so the cover seats correctly over the bag body. Adjust edges and any securing tabs so the cover conforms to the sling shape and does not interfere with main closures. After the rain event, shake off excess water, allow the cover to dry thoroughly before folding, and store it inside the sling to keep it available for future use.
What to consider before purchase
Compatibility: designed for the Calumet PRIME Sling 7L; confirm bag model before buying
Protection level: suitable for rain and moisture but not for full submersion
Access: may limit access to some external pockets while fitted
Material care: dry fully before storage to prevent mildew
Usage recommendations
Use the raincover as a quick-response protective layer for everyday wet-weather situations. For prolonged exposure to heavy rain or when transporting highly sensitive equipment, combine the raincover with internal waterproof pouches or protective cases to ensure maximum moisture protection.
