Attach your Peak Design Anchor Mount directly to the bottom of your camera to create a low-profile connection point for neck or wrist straps. The slim machined and anodized aluminum mount does not block battery compartments or flip screens and allows the camera to hang lens-down when paired with a strap, improving stability and comfort with longer lenses. Anchor Mount screws into any standard 1/4"-20 tripod socket and accepts strap ends up to 11 mm wide. Note: Anchor Mount is not compatible with tripods or the Capture system.

How to use
Screw the Anchor Mount into your camera’s standard 1/4"-20 tripod socket on the base of the camera. Attach a Peak Design Anchor or any standard neck/wrist strap end (up to 11 mm wide) to the mount. For improved comfort and stability, fasten the other end of the strap to the camera’s side strap lug so the camera hangs with the lens facing downward. The slim profile allows normal access to the battery compartment and flip screens while mounted.
Usage recommendations
Do not use Anchor Mount as a tripod plate or with the Capture system; remove the mount before attaching a tripod or use Peak Design’s Standard Plate if you need tripod or Capture compatibility.
