## Summary description

The Case Logic DCB-309 Backpack case is designed for laptops with a maximum screen size of 14 inches. Its sleek black design is compatible with any brand. The backpack features padded compartments for protection, multiple pockets for accessories, and comfortable straps for easy carrying, making it ideal for students and professionals on the go.

## Long description

The Case Logic DCB-309 backpack case in black is a versatile carrying solution designed to safely transport both electronics and photography equipment. Built from durable nylon, this backpack accommodates a 15-inch MacBook Pro or a 14-inch PC in a dedicated padded laptop compartment, alongside an SLR camera with an attached lens up to 70-200mm, a DJI Mavic Pro, or other compatible drones up to 320mm x 260mm x 120mm. It combines structured protection with everyday utility for mobile professionals, photographers, and students.
Advantages
This backpack offers reliable impact protection through a padded front panel and dedicated device compartments, ensuring that delicate electronics and optics remain secure during transit. The adjustable divider system allows users to customize the interior organization for additional camera lenses, flashes, and accessories. External features such as a side tripod attachment, a mesh water bottle pouch, and an integrated weather hood provide practical utility in various outdoor conditions. Additionally, the strap management system prevents loose straps from dangling, maintaining a neat and manageable profile.
Suitable for
Carrying an SLR camera with an attached zoom lens up to 70-200mm along with 2-3 extra lenses and accessories
Transporting a 15-inch MacBook Pro or a 14-inch PC securely alongside professional gear
Carrying a DJI Mavic Pro or similarly sized drones up to 320mm x 260mm x 120mm
Outdoor photography sessions requiring weather protection and tripod transport
Daily commuting and travel for students and professionals needing mixed electronics and gear storage
When it may not be suitable
This backpack may not be appropriate for users carrying laptops larger than 15 inches or those who do not require camera and drone storage, as the specialized interior dividers consume space that could otherwise be used for general items. It is also less suited for minimalist everyday use when a slim briefcase or smaller daypack is preferred.

How to use
Open the main compartments to configure the internal dividers according to your camera body, lenses, and accessories. Place your laptop into the rear padded compartment and secure your camera gear in the main section. Utilize the side pocket and upper buckle to secure a tripod, and pack smaller personal items in the front storage pocket. Pull the weather hood out from its stuff sack if encountering rain, and adjust the shoulder straps for a comfortable fit while managing any excess strap length with the strap management system.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your laptop dimensions do not exceed the laptop compartment size of 37.8 x 12.5 x 27.2 cm
Consider whether the specialized camera divider layout meets your specific equipment configuration needs
Assess if the 1.04 kg empty weight and overall external dimensions align with your daily carrying preferences
Usage recommendations: To maintain the durability of the nylon material and protect the integrated weather hood, store the backpack in a dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Clean outer surfaces with a damp cloth as needed and avoid overloading the tripod attachment to maintain proper balance during travel.
