## Long description

CEDRUS Kizer Microbe G10 with 14C28N Steel Blade is a compact folding knife engineered for everyday carry and general utility tasks. It pairs a corrosion-resistant 14C28N stainless steel blade with G10 handle scales to offer a balance of edge performance and handle durability in a small, pocketable form. The folding mechanism allows safe storage and quick deployment, making this knife suitable for routine cutting, opening packages, and light outdoor use.
Advantages
The Microbe combines a stainless steel blade formulation known for good edge retention and corrosion resistance with textured G10 scales that provide secure grip and impact resistance. Its compact folding profile reduces bulk when carried in a pocket, while the blade geometry and sharpness support precise cutting tasks. The construction emphasizes durability and straightforward maintenance, with materials chosen to withstand daily use.
Suitable for
Everyday carry (EDC) tasks such as opening boxes and cutting cord
Light outdoor activities, camping tasks, and field use
General utility work in home or workshop settings
Users seeking a small, reliable pocket knife with secure grip
Key specifications
Blade material: 14C28N stainless steel
Handle material: G10 composite scales
Folding design with pocket-friendly dimensions
Blade type: utility/straight-edge profile suitable for precise cuts
Construction: metal liners with secured handle fastenings for stability
How to use
Open the folding knife with the designated deployment method and ensure the blade locks fully before use. Hold the G10-handled knife with a firm, controlled grip and apply steady cutting motion appropriate to the material. For tasks like opening packages, light trimming, or rope cutting, use short, deliberate strokes. After use, carefully close the blade and store the knife in a dry pocket or pouch. Follow basic safety practices: keep fingers clear of the cutting path, cut away from your body, and avoid prying with the blade.
Usage recommendations
Maintain the 14C28N blade by regular cleaning and periodic honing. Wipe the blade dry after exposure to moisture and lubricate the pivot occasionally to ensure smooth folding action. For heavy-duty or prying tasks, select a tool designed for those loads rather than the Microbe to avoid blade or hinge damage.
