## Long description

The Binoculars Hama Outland X 8x 2.5cm BaK-4 Black are designed to meet the demands of outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, and sports fans. These mid-size binoculars combine multi-coated optics with BaK-4 glass prisms to deliver high-resolution images with enhanced color fidelity, contrast, and brightness. Housed in a durable, rubber-covered body, they are engineered to withstand rough handling in various weather conditions. Weighing only 312 grams, this lightweight and ergonomic instrument ensures maximum comfort during extended observation sessions.
Advantages
The multi-coated optics significantly improve light transmission, resulting in clear and bright viewing experiences. Built with waterproof and fogproof construction, the binoculars are nitrogen purged to prevent internal fogging during sudden temperature changes or high humidity. The inclusion of a large, user-friendly focus knob allows for precise and smooth adjustments, while the twist-up eyecups enable comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses. Additionally, the protective rubber armor provides a secure grip and guards against everyday wear and tear.
Suitable for
Birdwatching and wildlife observation
Hiking, camping, and outdoor exploration
Attending sporting events and live concerts
Traveling and general sightseeing
When it may not be suitable
These binoculars may not be ideal for specialized low-light environments, such as deep astronomy or nocturnal wildlife tracking, due to the 25 mm objective diameter which gathers less light than larger lenses. Users requiring extreme high magnification for long-distance stationary targets might find the 8x magnification insufficient for their specific needs.
Key specifications
8x magnification
2.5 cm objective diameter
BaK-4 prism type
Waterproof and fogproof design
Nitrogen purged optics
Rubber-covered black body
3.1 mm exit pupil
How to use
To begin using the binoculars, adjust the distance between the two barrels until you see a single, circular field of view. Rotate the central focus knob while looking at a distant object until the image appears sharp and distinct. If you wear eyeglasses, twist the eyecups down to maintain the correct eye relief, and keep them extended if you do not wear glasses. Utilize the pre-attached strap for secure carrying during transport.
What to consider before purchase
Verify if the 8x magnification and 25 mm objective lens meet your specific viewing requirements
Consider whether you need a compact, lightweight device for mobile activities rather than a heavy-duty professional tool
Check compatibility with your preferred weather conditions, noting the waterproof and fogproof features
Usage recommendations
Always store the binoculars in the provided neoprene carrier bag when not in use to protect the lenses from dust and scratches. Clean the optics only with specialized lens cleaning cloths to avoid damaging the multi-coating.
