The car was maximally simplified, economical and allowed for comfortable transport of 4 people with luggage. Baptized as the ugliest car in the world at the Paris Salon in 1948, it became an object of desire, contrary to the critics' opinions. During 41 years of production, nearly 4 million units were produced in factories around the world. Today, this car has cult status and is a treat for collectors. In 1980, the premiere of a special version of the cult car Citroen 2CV took place! The Limited Charleston was produced with only 8,000 units! The car was distinguished by its attractive, characteristic two-color body and interior trim.
