## Summary description

CYFRAL DV-4 is a video signal distributor designed to split a single video feed to up to four monitors. It enables simultaneous display on multiple indoor units in intercom or CCTV setups, preserving signal routing and compatibility with CYFRAL monitor systems. Suitable for residential and small commercial installations requiring multi-monitor video distribution.

## Long description

CYFRAL DV-4 is a passive video signal distributor that splits a single video feed to up to four monitors. Designed for use with CYFRAL monitor systems and compatible intercom or CCTV installations, the unit maintains the same video output across connected indoor units to enable simultaneous viewing. The compact device is intended for residential and small commercial setups where one camera or door station image must be shared among several monitors without complex reconfiguration.
Advantages
The CYFRAL DV-4 provides straightforward distribution of one video signal into four identical outputs, ensuring consistent image delivery to each connected monitor. Its simple connection scheme reduces installation time and the need for additional signal amplifiers in short-run applications. The distributor is passive in design, which simplifies maintenance and lowers the risk of electronic failures compared with active splitters requiring power supplies.
Suitable for
Apartment or townhouse systems where several indoor monitors share a single door station camera
Small offices or shops requiring the same CCTV feed displayed at multiple workstations
Renovations where existing wiring should be reused to feed multiple displays
Multi-room homes wanting synchronized video from an entrance intercom
When it may not be suitable
The CYFRAL DV-4 is intended for short to moderate cable runs and passive splitting; it may not be suitable for long-distance signal distribution where attenuation and interference become significant. For systems that require signal amplification, active distribution, or complex switching and routing between different camera sources, a powered video amplifier or matrix switcher would be more appropriate.
Key specifications
Function: video signal distribution (1 input → 4 outputs)
Compatibility: designed for use with CYFRAL monitor systems and standard analogue video feeds
Number of outputs: four identical video outputs
Physical format: compact wall- or DIN-compatible enclosure for simple mounting
Connection type: standard video connectors suitable for intercom/CCTV cabling
How to use
Install the CYFRAL DV-4 near the main monitor or camera source and connect the single video feed to the distributor's input. Run the four output cables from the distributor to each indoor monitor using the appropriate video cabling already present in the installation. Verify signal continuity and image on each monitor after connections. If image quality is poor on distant monitors, check cable condition and consider using a powered distribution amplifier for longer runs.
What to consider before purchase
Distance between the distributor and individual monitors — longer runs may require active amplification
Compatibility with existing CYFRAL monitors and the type of video cabling in place
Number of monitors that need the same video feed (maximum four outputs)
Mounting location and available space for the distributor unit and cable routing
Usage recommendations
Use quality shielded video cabling and keep cable runs as short as possible to preserve image clarity. For installations with runs beyond typical residential distances or where multiple split stages are needed, select an active, powered distributor or amplifier to maintain consistent signal levels across all monitors.
