The DES-1016D provides 16 auto-sensing 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports that automatically negotiate speed (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) and duplex mode, enabling simple plug-and-play integration with servers, PCs, hubs or other switches. Designed to increase network throughput and reduce congestion, the device supports flow control and automatic MDI/MDIX crossover handling to eliminate the need for crossover cables or dedicated uplink ports.
