The Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 (MPN PD9531-DPM) is a rugged handheld area imager designed for Direct Part Marking (DPM) and standard label-based bar code reading. It supports 1D and 2D symbologies and captures high-resolution, small codes at close range. Built with a durable housing and optimized optics, the device reads DPM marks produced by laser etching, dot peening or ink jet, and also reads conventional printed labels. Motionix™ motion-sensing automatically switches scanning modes to match the operator's workflow.
