The integrated self-adhesive backing ensures straightforward installation and a secure hold on clean surfaces, making it a reliable choice for everyday protective needs.
Advantages
This self-adhesive PVC edge protector offers a reliable way to cover sharp edges and corners without the need for complex mounting tools. The ribbed construction contributes to enhanced durability and better absorption of minor impacts. Its neutral black color blends seamlessly into many office, workshop, and home environments. The strong adhesive layer on the underside guarantees a firm attachment to compatible surfaces, ensuring that the trim remains securely in place over extended periods of use.
Suitable for
Covering sharp metal, wood, or plastic edges in workshops and garages
Protecting furniture corners and edges in offices and commercial spaces
Guarding vulnerable surfaces against daily wear and impact
Securing edges on shelving units and workstations
When it may not be suitable
This edge protector is not designed for heavy industrial environments subject to extreme mechanical stress or constant heavy-duty impacts. It may also not adhere properly to uneven, porous, dusty, or damp surfaces without prior preparation.
Key specifications
Material: PVC
Design: Ribbed
Dimensions: 40 x 40 mm
Length: 1 m
Color: Black
Installation: Self-adhesive
How to use
Ensure that the mounting surface is completely clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or oil before installation. Measure the required length of the edge protector and cut it using suitable cutting tools if necessary. Remove the protective film from the adhesive backing carefully. Position the trim evenly along the edge or corner and press firmly along its entire length to ensure optimal adhesion. Avoid stressing the adhesive bond immediately after installation to allow it to set properly.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the 40 x 40 mm dimensions match the thickness and size of the edges you intend to cover
Check that the total length of 1 meter is sufficient for your application or if multiple units are required
Ensure the mounting surface is smooth and compatible with self-adhesive products
Usage recommendations: For the best long-term hold, apply the edge protector at room temperature and allow the adhesive to cure undisturbed for several hours after application.
