## Long description

The Delock 22225 Micro Irrigation Hose with a 4.6 mm diameter and a 20 m length is designed specifically for reliable setup in micro-irrigation systems. This hose is ideal for gardens, greenhouses, and plant watering setups, ensuring efficient water distribution directly to plant roots. It provides a practical solution for maintaining optimal soil moisture levels for various types of plants while helping to conserve water through targeted delivery.
Advantages
This micro irrigation hose offers targeted water delivery that minimizes water waste and ensures that moisture reaches the root zone of your plants efficiently. Its 4.6 mm diameter is compatible with standard micro-irrigation fittings and components, making integration into existing setups straightforward. The 20-meter length provides sufficient coverage for medium-sized garden beds, greenhouse rows, or patio plant arrangements. Constructed from durable materials suitable for outdoor use, the hose withstands typical garden environments while maintaining flexibility for easy routing around plants and landscaping elements.
Suitable for
Watering flower beds and vegetable gardens
Setting up greenhouse irrigation systems
Supplying water to potted plants on patios and balconies
Targeted root watering for shrubs and flower pots
When it may not be suitable
This hose is not designed for high-pressure main water supply lines or heavy-duty agricultural irrigation covering large acreage. It is also unsuitable for applications requiring drinking water transport or systems that demand rigid piping rather than flexible distribution tubing.
Key specifications
Outer diameter: 4.6 mm
Length: 20 m
Application: Micro-irrigation systems
How to use
Plan your irrigation layout by measuring the distance from your water source or main supply line to the plants you wish to water. Cut the micro irrigation hose to the required lengths using appropriate cutting tools to fit your specific garden layout. Connect the hose securely to your micro-irrigation system fittings, connectors, or emitters. Secure the hose along the ground or flower beds using suitable pegs or clips to keep it in the desired position. Turn on the water supply at a low, regulated pressure suitable for micro-irrigation to test for proper flow and check that water reaches the plant roots effectively.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the 4.6 mm diameter matches your existing micro-irrigation fittings and connectors
Measure your garden area to ensure the 20 m length meets your coverage requirements
Ensure your water supply system operates at an appropriate pressure level for micro-irrigation tubing
Usage recommendations
Inspect the irrigation hose periodically for any blockages, kinks, or wear, and flush the system occasionally to maintain optimal water flow to your plants.
